Message My car sat for about seven months while on deployment. Upon starting it up my idle is eradic fluctating between 200 and 1500 RPMs at idle. In order to eliminate the possibilities of a boost leak I took it over to my local hobby shop on base and had them perform a smoke check. The system seemed air tight until I saw smoke gently coming out between the TPS sensor and the throttle body (drivers side) as well as the other side of the same throttle where the throttle cable rod inserts into the throttle (there appears to be a orange bushing in there.

I have the following questions:

1. Should the bushings/o-rings on either side of the driver's side throttle body be air tight? And are they o-rings that can be taken out?

2. If so, Nissan is not showing them as a separate part and is telling me there is no rebuilt kit for these. Does anybody no where I can get these?

3. How hard is it to pull the driver's side throttle and pull these o-rings?

I don't know if this will fix my eradic idle but would like to eliminate any boost leaks before moving on.

Thanks for any help you can give me.
